Massachusetts Toxic Use Reduction Act

This 1989 law requires manufacturing firms using specific quantities of some 900 chemicals to conduct a biannual plan identifying ways to reduce use of those chemicals. Its precautionary actions include goal setting, safer alternatives, monitoring, reporting and the responsibility of the firms to take action.
